The holidays are a wonderful time of year, but also a time when we need so spend a lot of money. Many people want to be able to give elegant and appreciated gifts, but do not have the money to go out and purchase expensive presents. With a little creativity, anyone can make beautiful gifts at home. You are not only telling your loved one that you care, but will also save a lot of money at the same time. Here are a few ideas.
1) Homemade bath salts
This luxurious spa gift is something anyone would be happy to receive. Scent Epsom salts with essential oils of your choice. Put the salts in decorative glass jars with a pretty label and instructions.
2) Body scrub
Body scrubs are wonderful for your skin. They can be made with both salt and sugar. Combine salt or sugar with almond oil or sunflower oil and add your favorite essential oils. Place in a decorative jar. This gift pairs nicely with the bath salts.
3) Homemade cookies
